**Job Description:Food preparation workers perform a variety of tasks some duties include preparing cold foods, slicing meat, peeling and cutting vegetables, brewing coffee or tea, and doing many other food service tasks.

**Wage Rate: A Minimum of $11.00/hr. to $14.00/hr., or a Maximum of $13.00/hr. to $16.00/hr. Plus Tips and Depending on how many hours worked.

**Work Schedule: Day Shift. Full-time or Part-time. Monday-Saturday. 8:00 am-3:00 pm.

**Job Duties: Food preparation workers will clean, sanitize, and store kitchen equipment, and unload and store food supplies. When needed, they retrieve food and equipment for cooks and chefs. help cooks and other kitchen staff by preparing ingredients for dishes. Other duties include slicing and dicing fruits, vegetables, and meat; making salads, sandwiches, and other cold food items; and keeping salad bars and buffet tables stocked and clean. Food preparation workers will use a variety of commercial kitchen equipment, such as commercial dishwashers, blenders, slicers, or grinders.

Job Requirements: Must have a minimum of 1 year experience. Must be 16 years of age or older. Must possess a positive and can-do attitude and be a team player. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Willing to train. An applicant with knife skills, food prep skills, and previous line cook, fry cook, or grill cook experience is a plus. Reference checks for previous employment may be requested.
